Deadline Reminder

There's now roughly a week left to submit your works to the AO3 collection. I hope all is going well, but if you're struggling with your title please don't hesitate to ask for a replacement! Or, if everything is on track, feel free to ask for another title if you'd like to create multiple things!

A big thanks to everyone who has signed up! I really wasn't expecting a lot of interest for this, so I'm utterly floored by how many are taking part! I can't wait to see what you all create ♥

Thank you for the kind words. I got COVID last week and my spouse is due to be in hospital for surgery on Monday and then an expected six-week recovery time at home...so yeah...fic if I can manage the time and energy...but probably not until next round.

Sorry to say it, but I wasn't really planning on there being a another round of this... It was just meant as a one-time thing. Never say never though, and all that, but please don't get your hopes up. If you really feel strongly about participating, maybe just writing a very short scene or drabble could be an option for you?

It could be a long day in the hospital waiting-room on Monday during my spouse's surgery. Maybe I can get a drabble or some other short piece done while I'm there -- I'll just have to see where my writing-brain is that day in terms of focus or distraction.

Hey, could you clarify the deadline? The post says "The deadline to submit your works to the AO3 collection is at 23.59 GMT on the 25th of August. It will go live at 00.01 GMT on the 26th of August" which would be 7pm my time. But elsewhere it says the collection closes an hour before reveals, which would be 6pm.

Gah, I'm sorry about that! The sign-up post initially had the date as the 24th, and then I very quickly just edited that when I posted about the one-day extension. I did mean for the time to be an hour before reveals (which right now would be in about fifteen minutes). I'll try to keep it open a bit longer than that though, that was my initial plan anyway, but please try to add your work ASAP.
