Please remember that your work should bear the title you were given! That was the challenge here, but I'm sorry it was apparently unclear. I've been sending PMs to those in question, and will keep doing so where possible, but it'd be a great help if you could take note of this when posting. Thanks!

No current confusion, plus I want to say again it's all good. There is not one single bad thing and lots of good things that have come out of my writing for this challenge -- the only thing not happening is that I'm not adding it to the collection because it doesn't qualify -- but the really important and great thing is that because of this challenge I've had and am having a great ficcing experience at a time that it is especially meaningful.

Thank you kindly for the good wishes for my spouse (who we expect will be discharged from the hospital and get to come home tomorrow) and your continuing encouragement for this fic which I expect to post to AO3 in a week or so when things have settled down a bit at home.

I'm a member of and tracking posts on bethefirst, and I might not make it for the September flash round, but I have got a plotbunny for a movie from 1989 that has no fanworks and for which I've been wanting to make a fanwork -- a vid or a fic -- for years, so I might not make it for September but I will make it.
