Is this for fanworks only, or can I create something original?

Both are equally welcome!

What types of works are allowed?

Basically, if you created it in some way, then it's okay. You can write, draw, sculpt, compose, whatever!

Must my work be about alcohol and/or drinking?

No, not at all! You can interpret the cocktail name you're given in any way you choose, from the most literal to the vaguest of inspirations.

What are the minimum/maximum requirements?

There are none. Doesn't matter if it's a rough sketch or a polished painting, a drabble or an epic, etc.

I'd like to sign up, but I don't have a DW account. Can I still take part?

Absolutely! You can either comment anonymously on the sign-up post, or with OpenID. The latter enables you to use some other social-media account you may have, such as Twitter. You can also email me if you'd prefer, and I'll send you the name of your cocktail.

I'd like to post my finished work to the AO3 collection, but I don't have an account.

Let me know and I'll do my best to get you an invite.

Thank you, that's really kind of you to offer! There isn't a huge clamor for invites (I think there's been one or two people asking during all the years I've run events), and I do have a few myself -- but it's great to know there are some extras to fall back on, should things change.

BTW, I hope things are going well with your Snakebite! (Wow, that sentence sounds wrong...)
