Hi there, and welcome to The Cocktail Hour!

This is a low-pressure challenge that works in the following way: When you sign up you'll receive the name of a mixed drink. You then have to take inspiration from it in some way — literal, figurative, using it as the title of your work, anything goes! — and create a work of any type. (And, if you'd like, mention which cocktail you got in the notes when posting your work.)

If the drink name you receive doesn't do anything for you, just ask for another! You can also ask for multiple cocktails if you'd like to create more than one work.

The deadline to submit your works to the AO3 collection is at 23:59 GMT on the 30th of December. It will go live at 00:01 GMT on New Year's Day, a traditional time to enjoy drinks.
